Erik Brenden (27) went to the ground and got his elbow out of joint. Traffic delays prevented the ambulance and completed the nightmare of pain.

It was during an attacking exercise at Saturday’s training that he lost his balance. When he had to take care of himself, his arm ended up in an unnatural position.

– I’ve never been in so much pain before. I hyperventilated and was fainting, says Erik Brenden to VG.

The elbow ended up out of joint and the panic spread in the body of the 27-year-old.

– I lay there screaming and heard people around me react a little. They tried to raise me, but I struggled to stand on my feet. They had to hold me tight, says Brenden.

NOTE! In this photo gallery you can see the damage, which for some can be unpleasant:

The ambulance was contacted but was delayed due to a traffic accident.

– I was very scared, because I did not know what had happened. I just knew it was very serious. I quickly realized that this does not last for one to two days. It hurt so damn much, he says.

When the ambulance finally arrived, he was given morphine and they tried to put his elbow in place, but it was not possible.

– It was too painful, so they had to give me more and more morphine. At the hospital they put local anesthesia and then I got it in place.

Now he can expect a longer stay on the sidelines. The time frame depends on whether there will be surgery or not, but the cast will be removed in just over two weeks.

– Last night was the first night I slept more than three hours.

From before, Sandefjord has the important midfielder Marc Vales out with a stretch.

Wednesday’s opponent Bodø / Glimt also has major injury problems. Left wing Ola Solbakken got his shoulder out of joint against Molde, while right wing Sondre Sørli took the cruciate ligament against Stabæk and is out the rest of the season.

– It is a brutal message first and foremost for Sondre, but also for us. He has done a good job and grown from battle to battle. This is just a pity here, Bjørkan says to VG, who says that the goal now is to get the 25-year-old ready for the start of the 2022 series.

In addition, the edge alternative Pernambuco has suffered a strain.

Alfons Sampsted also got a slap against Molde, but escaped:
