Never-before-seen photo shows ‘divine’ Princess Diana | royals

She stares straight ahead and wears a draped dress with bare shoulder. “She seems reserved, stoic,” say the curators of Historic Royal Palaces, who are in charge of managing and maintaining former royal palaces in the United Kingdom.

entertainment">The photo was taken in 1988, when the princess was 27 years old, and will be shown for the first time at the exhibition. Although the photo was commissioned by the National Portrait Gallery, its creator, photographer David Bailey, never handed it over. For years the photo was kept by the photographer in his personal archive.
