Bringing the series to 1-0 by winning the first match 74-54, Near East University finished the first half 42-31 superior to its opponent at Atatürk Sports Hall. Continuing to play well in the second half, NEU won the fight 86-60 and declared its championship.
They lifted the trophy with enthusiasm
Ayhan Birsel’s students enjoyed the championship after congratulating their opponents at the end of the match. In the cup ceremony held, the trophies and medals of the runner-up Koopspor and the champion Near East University were presented by the TRNC Basketball Federation President Orhun Mevlit and the board of directors. NEU athletes enthusiastically lifted the championship trophy they won.
