Netizen reacted strongly after the Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) condemned the former Malaysian player’s racist remarks Bong Guang Yik.

Boang Guang Yik came into the spotlight after giving a controversial statement regarding Malaysia’s badminton coaching management through a videotape.

In the video that was spread on social media, not only criticized Malaysia’s badminton achievements, but also alluded to race and religion.

Apart from that, Bong Guang Yik also called the Malays lazy and only knew about eating. Guang Yik’s attitude was condemned by BAM.

“BAM condemns the disgusting racial comments uploaded by Malaysians living in China. This Malaysian who is currently training in China uploaded a video on his Tiktok account,” wrote BAM.

The curse of BAM which was uploaded on social media Twitter elicited a strong reaction from Malaysian netizens. Netizens consider Guang Yik’s embarrassing behavior to be reported to the Badminton World Federation (BWF).

“Please make an official report to BWF as well. Most likely no action will be taken if only at the CBA level,” said @syazwan0403.

Most netizens in the neighboring country indicated that they were fed up with the figure of Boang Guang Yik. Netizens want Guang Yik banned from entering Malaysia.

“What a trash person. Never let him set foot in this country again!” said @annomaly001.

Netizens’ deep disappointment made them hope that Guang Yik would suffer because he was no longer accepted by Malaysia and expelled from China.

“Imagine he was fired by CBA and his visa was turned off by the Chinese kingdom, he wanted to return to Malaysia and then he was detained at the airport, his passport was blocked by immigration,” said @han_asoka.

“No wonder it’s suddenly bold, apparently in China,” said @mohdiszie.
