The third season of Netflix’s The Witcher has been announced. In addition, the streaming service showed a trailer for the second season. Both events took place at the presentation of Tudum.
The second season of The Witcher will be available to watch on December 17th. The season will consist of eight episodes. The roles will be played by the same actors as in the first season – Henry Cavill, Anya Chalotra and Freya Allan. Young Geralt will be played by Alexander Squires.
The second season will show Ciri’s training at Kaer Morhen. Geralt will become the named father for the princess. According to the plot of the sagas, their fates were connected by Destiny even before the birth of Ciri.
