Film or series adaptations of games are no longer uncommon. Current examples of this are the sequel to Sonic, the upcoming Halo series or the upcoming Uncharted film. The blue hero “Mega Man” should also have had its cinematic implementation for a long time, in 2015 the project mentioned and Manifested in a press release in 2018. So far, however, little has been seen of this.
Henry Joost and Rel Schulman were supposed to take care of the film, but as we know now (via The Verge) on the Supermarché website announced, Netflix has taken the project under its wing. For fans of the series it is unfortunately still not clear when you can expect the flick, but maybe Netflix is now putting a little more pressure on the kettle.
