Netflix announces via a tweet that it is a film adaptation Beyond Good & Evil is in the works. Nothing is known yet about the content of the film, but the screenshot and the notification that it is a ‘space pirate adventure’ already suggest that the film is in line with the second game in the series.
We do know that Rob Letterman is directing. He was previously responsible for the Detective Pikachu film. In addition, Jason Altman and Margaret Boykin from Ubisoft Film & Television are also involved in the project. The news comes after rumors about one yesterday Splinter Cell animeserie.

It has long been quiet around Beyond Good & Evil 2. During E3 2018 we received the first Beyond Good & Evil 2 gameplay , but since then we don’t get much new information. Hopefully the announcement of the film means that we will also be presented with new gameplay soon.
