Naughty Dog’s creative director and screenwriter Neil Drackmann tweeted to praise The Last of Us: Part II.
He calls the animation team “one of the best (if not the best) in the industry.” According to him, people working in the studio can boast of outstanding technological knowledge.
Drackmann adds that he cannot wait for the moment when the players will be able to personally evaluate the work done.
In the comments to the message, users began to recall the scriptwriter’s recent article by jason schreyer about refining in the studio and statements former Naughty Dog animator Jonathan Cooper. The latter does not consider Naughty Dog the best studio due to the fact that experienced developers try to avoid it.
The Last of Us: Part II is released May 29, 2020 on the PS4.
