Necessary Funds for Municipalities: Reimbursement of Expenses and Support to Citizens in Ukraine

The mentioned funds are necessary to ensure the reimbursement of expenses to municipalities for the period from July to November. This financing compensates the expenses incurred by local governments in providing support to the citizens of Ukraine, including providing accommodation and meals, providing social support, providing education, support for applying for state administration services, ensuring the operation of single coordination points for support provided by the state and local governments, etc.

Taking into account that there is a balance of funds from the funding allocated to Ukrainian refugees so far, as well as taking into account requests for funds from municipalities, more than 10 million euros are additionally needed.

Therefore, the total funding allocated for this purpose this year will be less than 32.2 million euros.
