The first blood drive of the year at the Rural Family House (MFR) in Rumengol, in Le Faou, was held on Friday morning. Ninety-eight volunteers came forward to donate blood, including 19 new donors. Note the participation of about fifteen students from the MFR.
Ninety-three bags of blood were collected. Bernard Le Lous, president of the Amicale pour le don du sang du Faou – Daoulas, is satisfied. The association offered a hyacinth to each donor, as a sign of hope and renewal.
The next collections will take place in Faou, on Monday, June 21, and in Logonna-Daoulas, on Monday, April 12.
