Strong emotion at Marsillargues, in the Lunellois, 30 kilometers east of Montpellier, after the discovery, this Monday morning, of anti-Semitic tags traces on the walls, inside the nursery school of Vidourle, boulevard Ernest Renan. The officials, shocked, immediately alerted the mayor, who informed the gendarmes of the company of Lunel. Investigators and scientific technicians from the criminal identification cell of the Hérault gendarmerie group were on site.
Investigation in progress
The parents of the students have expressed their anger, after this act which has not been claimed. The prefect of Hérault, Jacques Witkowski came to this school in Marsillargues and expressed his indignation. The investigation under the authority of public prosecutor of Montpellier will endeavor to identify the author (s) of these anti-Semitic inscriptions, who will have operated during the weekend, after a break-in of the premises. It seems that the residents did not see or hear anything suspicious during this intrusion.
