The Hawks were finally able to qualify for the play-offs at the start of the weekend. They will play their first match of this stage this Sunday.

Last Friday, Atlanta defeated Cleveland in the final of the play-in tournament in the Eastern Conference. The Cavaliers who dominated the first period of this meeting lost with 6 points difference (101-107). Gorgui Sy Dieng who played 5 minutes during this match and his teammates thus qualified for the play-offs which started yesterday.
On their way to the play-off, the number 1 in the East this season. The Atlanta Hawks will face the Miami Heat in the first round. The two teams will play for a place in the semi-finals in 7 games. The first match will be played this Sunday at 5 p.m.
