Despite an outstanding performance from Luka Doncic, the Dallas Mavericks lost to the Chicago Bulls at home. In the 101: 117 defeat, the lack of depth due to the Corona failures is noticeable.

Doncic added 30 points in the first half alone and in the end came up with 36 points (13/30 FG, 6/11 threesomes), 16 rebounds and 15 assists – it was the 29th triple double of his career, making the 21 -Year-old overtook Michael Jordan in the third year. That was not enough for the win, because the rest of the decimated Mavs team did not want to go much.
Kristaps Porzingis got 20 points, but didn’t hit anything from a distance (0/7), otherwise Willie Cauley-Stein and James Johnson were the best point collectors with 10 points each. The Bulls were much more balanced after four defeats in a row and thus won a deserved victory, although their top scorer Zach LaVine (10 points, 1/8 FG, but 10 assists) did not attract attention as a scorer.
A total of six players landed in double figures, with the Finn Lauri Markkanen being the most conspicuous with 29 points (10/19) and 10 rebounds. Garrett Temple came from the bench to 21, Thaddeus Young (15) and Otto Porter (14) also played strongly.
