Basketball professional Maximilian Kleber from the Dallas Mavericks won the German duel in the North American professional league NBA against Isaiah Hartenstein from the Denver Nuggets.
Kleber remained lackluster for long stretches, but took over responsibility in the closing stages and with nine points in the fourth quarter ensured that Dallas made it into extra time. There the guests showed strong nerves and won with 124: 117.
But the man of the evening was once again Luka Doncic. He scored 38 points. In the fifth defeat of the season by the Nuggets, Hartenstein was on the pitch for a little more than five minutes, but he didn’t score any points.
Masters Los Angeles Lakers lost at home with 109: 118 to the San Antonio Spurs and missed the fifth win in a row. National player Dennis Schröder didn’t have a good day and only turned three of his eleven throws.
