Finalist of the last edition of the playoffs last season, the Miami Heat began their series against the Milwaukee Bucks. The Heat lost with a big game from Khris Middleton at 27 points and 6 rebounds which saved his team with a buzzer-beater. The latter was perfectly helped by the star Giannis Antetokounmpo who scores 26 points for 18 rebounds. On the Miami side, Goran Dragic finished with 25 points, just ahead of Duncan Robinson with 24 units. Brooklyn also defeats Boston with a big game from Kevin Durant at 32 points and 12 rebounds, but also a Kyrie Irving at 29 points and a James Harden on the verge of the triple double with 21 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists. The Nets lead 1-0 in this series, while opposite, Evan Fournier finished with 10 points and 22 for Jayson Tatum.
In the last two games of the evening, the Clippers fell against Dallas with 31 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists from Luka Doncic who carried his team. On the Clippers side, the performances of Paul George with 23 units and Kawhi Leonard with 26 points and 10 rebounds were not enough. Note also, the match of Nicolas Batum with 11 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists in 31 minutes of play. Last poster of the night and victory for Portland against Denver.
