It’s time for choices. The NBA celebrates the night of the draft, the one in which young talents enter the world of the pros. This time it’s virtual, the fault of the pandemic. The first call is from Minnesota: Anthony Edwards, 19-year-old guard from Georgia chosen. Nico Mannion is also waiting, likely at the end of the first lap. PHILA CEDE AL HORFORD Philadelphia traded Al Horford to Oklahoma City, getting Danny Green (whom the Thunder took from the Lakers in the Schröder affair) and Terrance Ferguson in exchange. At Okc also the 34th pick in the draft tonight and a future pick on the first lap 2025
HOUSTON CEDE ARIZA
The Rockets pack Trevor Ariza and pick 16 (just arrived from Portland) and ship them to Detroit in exchange for a future pick on the first round. Move to free up wage space.
SALTA BOGDANOVIC AI BUCKS
Bogdan Bogdanovic is not going to the Bucks, at least not for now. The deal that was supposed to send the Serbian to Milwaukee in exchange for Donte DiVincenzo, Ersan Ilyasova and DJ Wilson fell through because Bogdanovic prefers to test the market. He is a restricted free agent, so Sacramento can keep him by matching any offers. And in case try to relaunch the deal with Milwaukee. For now, however, it is skipped
