2K has shown us the details of the soundtrack of NBA 2K24. To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the series NBA 2K and the 50th anniversary of hip-hop, the soundtrack includes songs from the past and present, while hinting at what lies ahead.
2K has partnered with several GRAMMY Award-winning artists including Jay-Z, Travis Scott, and J. Cole, among others, becoming the benchmark for video game soundtracks.
From Lil Wayne to J. Cole, NBA 2K24 dances to hip-hop
The soundtrack of NBA 2K24 pays homage to the hip-hop genre by offering an extensive list of songs, made up of prominent producers, leaders in the world of music and the new generation of artists. NBA 2K24Showcasing hip-hop’s diverse collection of tunes and beats, it includes songs by Lil Uzi Vert, Kodak Black, Ice Spice, Lil Wayne, Steve Lacy, Baby Keem and many more.
To keep the soundtrack updated, this edition will also bring interesting news: Def Jam Recordings will kick off Season 1. Adding classic songs like Warren G’s “This DJ (feat. OGLB),” Rick Ross’ “Hustlin,” to current hits like “GOATED. (feat. Denzel Curry)” by Armani White, “2 Certified” by Hit-Boy & Avelino, and new never-before-heard sounds like Haiti Babii’s “My Time,” among others.
