natural disaster orders made in Lyon

Several orders for recognition and non-recognition of natural disasters were issued by the state last April for events that occurred in Lyon in 2019.

On April 29, a state of natural disaster for differential land movements following drought and rehydration of soils was taken by the State in the municipalities of Morancé, Alix, Bagnols, Émeringes, Éveux and Rivolet.

Conversely, this summer of natural disaster was not recognized for the municipalities of Chaponost, Limonest, Saint-Lager, Belleville-En-Beaujolais, Chasselay, Lissieu, Curis-Au-Mont-D’or, Marcilly- Azergues, Francheville, Caluire-Et-Cuire, Quincieux, Écully, Craponne.

Furthermore, no decree recognizing a state of natural disaster has been issued by the State for the earthquake which occurred on November 11, 2019 on the territory of the municipality of Caluire-et-Cuire.
