The Nationals fired an employee after he was caught on video throwing coffee in the face of a business employee in the Dominican Republic.
The team made the announcement on Saturday.
In a video posted to Twitter on Friday, the employee in question can be seen – who was identified by the channel. ESPN like Jazhiel Morel was – filling two cups of coffee while having a seemingly heated discussion with the sales employee. We then see him send the coffee right in the face of the lady at the counter before running out of the store.

“The Washington Nationals learned of this terrible incident earlier today and we immediately severed ties with this employee,” Nationals general manager Mike Rizzo said in a statement. We do not tolerate this kind of behavior within our organization. “
According to his LinkedIn page, Morel ran the Nationals Academy in the Dominican Republic.
