NNA – A delegation from the “Sovereign Front for Lebanon” visited the headquarters of the Apostolic Nunciature in Harissa, where they met the Apostolic Nuncio, Monsignor Paolo Borgia, and expressed their condolences for the death of Pope Benedict XVI.
The delegation included former minister Richard Kouyoumjian, Camille Joseph Chamoun, Samia Khaddaj, Charbel Azar, Maguy Saqr, Peter Germanos, Abdul Majeed Awad, Saeed Al Qazh and Joe Daou.
The meeting discussed “the merits of the late great man, especially the love, care and concern he had for the homeland of the Cedars, which was evident in his exceptional visit in the year 2012, bringing with him the Apostolic Exhortation to Lebanon”.
Kouyoumjian wrote in the register, on behalf of the delegation, a word of condolence to Pope Francis.
