National Executive will declare in emergency Quinua-San Francisco Highway

The regional governor of Ayacucho, Carlos Rua Carbajal, participated in the virtual meeting with the president of the Council of Ministers, Violeta Bermúdez, where he raised the immediate declaration of emergency of the Quinua-San Francisco highway, where days a platform of more than 500 meters of this busy road, leaving isolated more than 200 thousand families from the Valley of the Apurímac, Ene and Mantaro Rivers (Vraem), jurisdiction of the regions of Ayacucho, Cusco, Junín, among others.

– The regional authority indicated that, despite being a national highway, the Regional Government of Ayacucho deployed machinery to the area to carry out rehabilitation work, but that the declaration of emergency and greater deployment of machinery are required to re-establish the aforementioned national highway, in less time.

– “Several days have passed since the emergency in Tutumbaro, and after the steps taken, we already have a response from the National Executive, which in the next few hours will be declaring this important route in emergency, a declaration that must be accompanied by forceful actions to reestablish this route in less time, since there are thousands of isolated families, carriers and passengers stranded, and the rise in the cost of living ”, remarked the regional authority, who assured that the technical part already has the technical support ready for the declaration of emergency due to imminent risk .

– CULMINATION. The governor of Ayacucho highlighted the need to speed up the completion of the technical file studies to make the culmination of the asphalting of the Quinua-San Francisco highway, paralyzed since 2009, which includes more than 30 critical points.

– “The culmination of the studies to finish the asphalting of the Quinua-San Francisco highway was put on the agenda and prioritized in the Extraordinary Executive Gore developed on December 8 and we need to honor the commitments assumed by the National Government,” stressed the governor of Ayacucho.

– The governor of Ayacucho also considered it a priority to expedite the studies for the Vraem ring road and the replacement of the San Francisco bridge.
