National Day in Kovid Security | Qatar National Day

Doha: Qatar will celebrate National Day on the 18th under strict Kovid security. The official parade will take place at 9.00 am on the 18th at Doha Corniche.

There will be a colorful fireworks display at Cornish at 8.30pm. Although only those invited to see the parade are allowed, the evening fireworks display will also be open to the public, subject to Kovid precautions.

Access is limited

Only invited health workers, their families and their families are allowed to view the parade.

Children, members of the public and the elderly over the age of 60 have no access to health care. Entry will be allowed only if the invitation received to see the parade is displayed at the entrance. Access is only available if the Kovid risk app is green in Ihteras.

Body temperature will be checked at the entrance. The number of seats in the gallery was reduced along with the number of spectators.

Brigadier General Dr. Ali Khuzeim Al-Adbi, Director of Establishments and Authorities, Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Interior, said in a statement that only 2,569 seats were up for grabs.

Parking in Albida

Parking is available at Al Bida Park. Invitees are only allowed to return after the parade is over. The invitation will include a seat in the gallery and a barcode for parking.

Corniche’s waterfront road will be closed from Thursday night. Pedestrians and vehicles will not be allowed. Doha Metro stations are open from 2.00 pm.
