National champion Ostend was the first to qualify for the final on Friday evening in Hasselt. After the first leg, they also won the return leg, 60-87 against Limburg United.
It was Ostend that started the game best. The coastal team led 17-21 after the first quarter. Limburg United dropped in the second quarter, despite a strong Dedrogen. Ostend then deepened the gap and after the break Ostend waltzed over the Limburgers.
Led by a strong Schwartz, the national champion dominated the game. Ostend thus reaches the play-off final again. Tomorrow Antwerp and Bergen will play against each other in the other semi-final.
