Oman has taken steps to control the growing number of minnows in the country. For this, Oman is preparing for nationwide publicity activities. Oman’s Environment Ministry has stated that in addition to landmines, crows and pigeons are increasing in number in the country (national anti-landmine campaign).

The government has announced that it will launch strong measures to control them from next month. The campaign is organized by the Oman Environment Authority. The ministry said the minnows pose a threat to agriculture by destroying crops and destroying the country’s unique plants and seeds.
