NASA launches a further rocket to the moon this weekend

Jakarta (ANTARA) – The US area company, the Countrywide Aeronautics and Area Administration (NASA), will launch yet another rocket to the moon on Saturday this weekend.

The Place Launch Program (SLS) rocket and astronaut Orion’s capsule ended up launched on Monday (29/8), but unsuccessful because of to motor problems. NASA officials say the rockets and capsules are at the moment even now on the start pad, so they really don’t have to deliver them back again to assembly.

Reuters claimed Wednesday that, if the approach goes properly, the SLS will be launched from the Kennedy Space Middle in Cape, Canaveral, Florida, all-around 2:17 pm on Saturday afternoon. The rocket introduced the unmanned Orion capsule for a six-7 days trip to the moon.

The rocket launch mission to the moon is named right after Artemis I, the successor to the Apollo undertaking in the 1960s and 1970s. The mission was not introduced on Monday (29/8) mainly because just one of the rocket’s principal engines did not attain the ideal temperature for pre-start.

This issue is caused by a defective sensor causing motor cooling difficulties.

Pertaining to the difficulty, NASA officers said it was helpful to conquer the obstacle so that the rocket could be repaired for launch once more.

“The sensor exercise is inconsistent with the actual physical regulations of the situation,” explained John Honeycutt, head of NASA’s SLS program.

For launch next Saturday, NASA programs to start the cooling system about 30 minutes early.

The Artemis I mission will set SLS and Orion on keep track of so that NASA can deliver astronauts in the long run.
