The fire brigade has stopped the investigation into the mysterious death of 19 cows in Adorp. A farmer on the Spoorlaan in the village reported that some of his animals had suddenly died in the night from Thursday to Friday.
According to spokesman for the fire brigade Geert Walburg, it is still unclear what caused the cows to die. A hazardous substances specialist from Amsterdam investigated whether it was manure gas, but he was unable to find the cause,’ says Walburg. The fire brigade advised the farmer to ventilate the stables properly.
