Formed at the Boitsfort Rugby Club, Amin Hamzaoui, 24 years old, pursuing its course in France. After the Racing 92 (2014-2016) Soyaux-Angouleme (2016-2017) and Narbonne (2017-2019), the third line belgian is committed to a second year at the Chartres Rugby.
“I look forward to finding the set of friends, the staff and the community of the Chartres Rugby”, has entrusted to us the one that has the recall been confronted in the front line at Covid-19. “We leave for a big season of Federal 2 which has been quite shaken up because of the health crisis. Three to four months without rugby, this is a first for me. The recovery in first time is going to be really hard, but that’s what we like in rugby, when there are difficulties”.
A second year at Chartres, that must fit in with the continuity of the international in belgium. “In terms of individual objectives, it remains the same. It is to be the most powerful on the field and outside of it, to continue to build my post-rugby. It’s been a year and a half that I am on my projects after rugby, and this is constructed very well,” says Amin.
“In terms of a collective purpose, it is simple, it is the rise in Federal 1. We will not under-estimate the teams of Federal 2 but I think that the level of capacities of individual, collective and financial club That Chartres Rugby for this season, we really have the means to play finals and even qualify for this climb. I think we will be wise enough to have goals in the short term in the beginning of the season to avoid taking to anyone. Who participated this season in the campaign of the Black Devils in Rugby Europe Championship being the trip to Georgia, Amin Hamzaoui hopes to maintain a place in the group despite the departure of Guillaume Ajac. “A new staff will arrive. Whatever happens, in order to qualify for the national team, I’m going to have to be a good club and show what I’m capable of. Each year, for me, it is a reset.
