What’s wrong with Liberec?
My friends and acquaintances now often ask me what is going on, that there must be something wrong in the cabin. But it is not! The boys are trying, training morale is fine. Only the sports form is not what it should be. We don’t create so many chances. And we are not succeeding. It will be up to the new coach to regain form. It’s just about training and work, and a little luck is needed to turn it into a winning wave again. We are in crisis and we must be strong and get out of it.
What is the cause of the fourth home loss?
I don’t think we entered the match badly. We fulfilled the plan and the combination was quite successful. However, there were few goal opportunities. And when we seemed to be inhaling in the second half, we were weakened and then we couldn’t help it.
How did the match affect Koscelník’s suspension in the 69th minute?
That moment of the match affected a lot. Finally, it seemed that we would create a chance, and at that moment came this crucial moment. The match affected it terribly and unfortunately negatively for us. We did not prevent the weakening when we made a mistake, after which the opponent scored us.

Do you agree with the verdict of the referee, who expelled Koscelník after the VAR intervention for stepping on the opponent?
I saw it from afar only from the bench, not in the video yet, so I don’t want to rate it. But at first I thought it wasn’t even a foul. Then the referee whistled. He soon went to watch the video and pulled out a red card. When he reviewed it in the video, it probably was, even though it didn’t work out to me.
Will you find any positives at all after the next loss?
Of course, you will find them in a lost match as well as you will find mistakes after winning a match. Maybe I was pleased with the individual performances of some players. However, football is played on goals and if you do not give it, it will be wasted. Maybe some fans who know the sport will appreciate that there was a desire, but the vast majority are probably not interested, which is not surprising. We need points. They want goals and chances, which we don’t offer at the moment. One cannot even surprise that they are angry. We have to give it back to them in the next matches.
