Musk threatens to leave Tesla from California

Elon Musk is threatening to relocate his Tesla factory and headquarters in the state of California now that the factory is not yet open due to corona measures in the United States. This threatens the Tesla CEO on Twitter.

Yesterday, authorities in Alameda County, where the factory is located, did not permit reopening. Only essential activities may restart. The Musk car factory is not included.

Musk said in a tweet that the decision goes against the constitution and what the state governor and President Trump want. He threatens a lawsuit against Alameda County.

Musk then threatens to immediately move the factory and headquarters to the states of Texas and Nevada. Whether Tesla will remain in California depends, according to him, on how the state will behave in the future.

About 20,000 people work at Tesla’s factory and headquarters. Musk has repeatedly criticized US corona measures. For example, he called the lockdown in California “fascist”.
