The hacker has the data of the 32,700 members of the Dutch-language music forum sent to RTL News. The passwords would be poorly secured and easily cracked.
A hacker temporarily changed the front page this afternoon. The forum has since been taken down.
No active maintenance
Jochanan Bax has told RTL News that the forum is not actively maintained for maintenance. According to the owner, it once started as a forum to share knowledge about music, but since about five years this has mainly been done via a blog.
Tomorrow Bax will report the data breach to the Dutch Data Protection Authority. Members of the forum are advised to change their passwords.
