Is the biggest music sensation of the very young year just around the corner? Apparently the “No Angels”, the most successful German girl group of all time, are planning their comeback! But despite the anticipation, there is unfortunately a downer in the whole thing.
Finally “Daylight in your Eyes” again! This news should freak fans all over the country – and at least forget the Corona sadness for a moment. As the “Bild” newspaper reports, the band is planning to re-launch their biggest hits and want to appear on a TV show soon.

It would be around 21 years after their victory in the casting show “Popstars” and the band’s second comeback. They split in 2003, but reappeared in 2007. But: Not with the original line-up from 2000. Because besides Lucy Diakovska, Sandy Mölling, Nadja Benaissa and Jessica Wahls were missing the fifth in the group, Vanessa Petruo.
She turned her back on show business for years – and embarked on an academic career. Petruo is scheduled to write her doctoral thesis in psychology at the University of Dresden today.
Songs by the No Angels become a huge success on Spotify
2014 was over again, the remaining “No Angels” went their separate ways again. In the end it seemed as if the girls had all arrived in their lives – and had finished with their band past. Jessica, for example, works successfully as a radio presenter, Sandy now lives with her family in the USA.

But apparently the “No Angels” still itch their fingers when it comes to the big stage – and the old songs. Who knows, maybe even last year’s great Spotify success has something to do with the comeback. In November, after what felt like an eternity, all of the band’s albums were finally uploaded to Spotify and other streaming services – with overwhelming success and access numbers.
