Music – Ludwigshafen am Rhein – State Philharmonic Hall provides information about the 100th anniversary concert – Culture

Ludwigshafen (dpa / lrs) – Before the official celebration of the 100th anniversary of the German State Philharmonic Orchestra of Rhineland-Palatinate, artistic director Beat Fehlmann gives insights into the history and future of the orchestra this afternoon. Chief conductor Michael Francis and Minister of Culture Konrad Wolf (SPD) are also expected to meet at the Pfalzbau in Ludwigshafen. The official celebration takes place on Saturday (February 15th) with a concert in Landau.

The orchestra gives an impression of the planned performance during a rehearsal in the Palatinate Building this afternoon. Among other things, the “Fate Symphony” by Ludwig van Beethoven can be heard in Landau.
