Music Director Shaan Rahman’s Memorable Experience at Shankaracharya’s Peetha

Shankaracharya’s Peetha is one of the main locations of Aurobindo’s Guests. Production Controller Shafi Chemmad shares an interesting experience that happened to Music Director Shaan Rahman when he went to see the location.

Shafi said that it was known that Shaan Rahman sank the place where music director Shaan Rahman was sitting after climbing the mountain. He said that Shaan Rahman did not climb the mountain after the incident and did not think it would be possible to shoot as it was far to reach Shankaracharya’s pedestal. Shafi is speaking on Safari TV’s Location Hunt.

‘After the entire script of Aurobindo’s Guests was locked, the entire crew of the film went to see the Mukambika temple. It had director, art director, associate and music director.

We sat there and read the script. The next day Vineet and I went to see Kudajadri. In the morning we went by jeep. The jeep will go almost to the origin of the destination, to the point where the jeep drives in the Aju movie. We went there and started walking. We did not expect to climb such a big mountain with such thick shooting materials. We got there with difficulty. Our vibe changes when the wind blows.

We sat on Shankaracharya’s pedestal for a while. Music director Shaan Rahman could not walk after climbing the hill for a short distance. Pulli sat there saying you go away. The place later came to be known as Shan Rahman Mook. Because when people come and go, the spot is sitting there,’ said Shafi Chemmad.
