“Casino du Liban” hosted the “Murex d’or 2023” awards ceremony, presented by journalist Hilda Khalife, who caught attention with her distinctive appearance and appearance after a long absence from the screen and the spotlight.

The award for best Arab actor in joint drama was won by the artist Qais Sheikh Najib, for the series “Stilto.” He said: “Our hearts are with Morocco and Libya… and it protects Lebanon and my country, Syria. This moment reminds me of a moment 16 years ago on the stage in Damascus when I received my first award.” .
While the Lebanese Singing Star Award was won by the artist Nawal Al-Zoghbi for her latest song “Party”. While receiving the award, she greeted every woman and performed the song live on stage. In an unexpected initiative, jury member Jamal Fayyad took the stage, calling on the duo Mohamed Ramadan and Nawal Al-Zoghbi. They shook hands to end their dispute, and the duo responded to his invitation, as it became clear that they were in disagreement because of an old statement from Ramadan, to which Nawal responded. On stage, each of them clarified their position and announced the end of the dispute.
He won the award for the best syndicated Lebanese series, “Fire with Fire.” Producer Sadiq Al-Sabah received the award, and during his speech he thanked all the creators of the work, while the artist Ward Al-Khal won the award for the best Lebanese actress in a first role, for her role in the series “For Death 3,” and was presented to her. The award went to her business partner, Maggie Bou Ghosn, and Ward shared the award with the work team, singling out Maggie and Daniela, who embraced her during work.
The Overall Artist Award was received by Marwan Khoury, in honor of 20 years of success and continuity, and the Distinguished Turkish Actress Award went to Sheval Sam, star of “Forbidden Apples,” who sang on stage “Oh Moon, I am with you.”
The Lebanese Star Reaching the World Award was won by Myriam Fares, while the Arab Singing Star Award was won by the Syrian artist Nassif Zaytoun, who dedicated the award to his country, Syria, and presented the song “With Dreams” with the participation of Michel Fadel playing the piano.
The award for the best joint and popular Lebanese series went to “For Death 3”, produced by Eagle Film, and the award was received by producer Jamal Sinan, and the artist Karis Bashar received the award for the best Arab actress in joint Arab drama, for her role in the series “Fire with Fire”, and she was considered in She said, “Maryam’s character deserves to be honored because it is difficult and represented a turning point in my life in more than one direction.”
The Woman of Worth & Murex Artistic Excellence Award was awarded to Abeer Nehme, who asked her daughter, Yara, to come up next to her and presented the award to her in front of everyone.
As for the award for Best Arab Actor in Egyptian Drama, it was won by Mohamed Ramadan for the series “Jaafar Al-Omda.” He expressed his happiness at the success and presented a song that included “King of Nightlife and No. 1.”
Rahma Riyad won the Arab Singing Star Award, and expressed her happiness at being honored for the fourth time at “Murex D’Or,” and performed her new song, “Hello Hal Al-Sha’ar.”
As for the award for Best Lebanese Actor in a Leading Role, it was won by George Khabbaz, for the series “Fire with Fire and Brando of the East.” He confirmed that he came from Germany specifically to receive the award. Khabbaz thanked everyone and said to his colleague Karis Bashar, “You deserve world awards.”
While the award for best screenwriter went to Nadine Jaber for the series “For Death 3,” and for the same work, the award for best dramatic director went to Philip Asmar.
The songs “Sayreena Ya Dunya and What a Sweet Day,” by Egyptian artist Ahmed Saad, also won the Best Arabic Song award.
The artist, Sasha Dahdouh, won the award for the best Lebanese actress in a supporting role, for the series “Fire with Fire,” and she said to her partner in the success, Tariq Tamim, “I love you very much.” Tamim also won the award for the best Lebanese actor in a supporting role for the same series.
The award for the emerging international Arab singer went to Issam Al-Najjar, and Nicolas Mouawad received a special excellence award for a Lebanese actor who reaches the international level, and Nader Al-Atat won the award for the best badge for “The Heart is Lost” for the series “And Finally.”
Michel Fadel won the “Murex in Honor of a Distinguished Lebanese Musician,” while Peter Markowski won the Recognition Award for an International Musician, and the Iraqi Ahmed Khafaji won the Rising Iraqi Actor Award, and the Best Video Clip award went to Nancy Ajram’s song “Ala Shanak” from Directed by Laila Kanaan. While the movie “Maya’s Notebooks” won the Best Lebanese Film Award, the closing ceremony was with the artist Ziad Bourji, who won the Lebanese Singing Star Award.
