The La Nucía City Council reports that the second “Municipal Anti-Rabies Vaccination Campaign 2023” will be from December 1 to 15. The Department of Animal Protection has reached an agreement with six Veterinary Clinics in La Nucía so that the price of the vaccine and deworming of the animal is €19, for those registered in La Nucía.
The Department of Animal Protection reminds us of the mandatory “Rabies Vaccination” for dogs, cats and ferrets. For this reason, all citizens of La Nucía with pets at home are informed that they must be vaccinated against rabies.
To promote vaccination, the second “Municipal Anti-Rabies Campaign 2023” will begin, in which for €19 the vaccine is given and the animal is dewormed, thanks to the agreement of the Department of Animal Protection with 6 Veterinary clinics in La Nucía: Clinic La Nucía Veterinary Clinic (966895791), QaliVet Veterinary Clinic (966873658), Mediterráneo Veterinary Clinic (965873511), La Creu II Veterinary Clinic (966896374), Garaita Veterinary Clinic (966873206) and 7 Vidas Veterinary Clinic (673923804). For vaccination, prior appointments are recommended at scheduled clinics.

Furthermore, for the sake of the pet, the Department of Animal Protection reminds us that according to the ley 2/2023 of Animal Welfare of the Generalitat Valenciana, the ownership of pets implies the obligation to register it in the RIVIA (Supramunicipal Registry of Identification of Pet Animals of the Valencian Community) and to put the Microchip (which is mandatory and its non-implementation implies an administrative sanction). To this end, an agreement has been reached with the six nuciera veterinary clinics to provide a microchip, passport and vaccination card for €70 per pet.
This second “Municipal Anti-Rabies Vaccination Campaign 2023” will be from December 1 to 15.
