Munich: There are three new corona vaccines in the Munich vaccination center – Munich

The delivery of Omikron BA.1 vaccines has only recently begun. The Munich Vaccination Center now also offers adapted vaccines from Biontech and Moderna, which are approved as booster vaccinations. They are vaccinated in all three municipal vaccination centers – in Gasteig, Marienplatz and the Olympia shopping center, but also in all mobile vaccination campaigns. The vaccine against inactivated whole virus of Valneva is only available in the Gasteig. It is approved for people between the ages of 18 and 50. Health officer Beatrix Zurek (SPD) points out that the effectiveness of a vaccination “decreases”. Citizens should therefore check their vaccination status and receive boosters “promptly”.
