Counselor Muhammad Al-Homsani, spokesman for the Council of Ministers, revealed the developments of the plan to reduce electrical loads, noting that there are still some factors that represent pressure on the electricity network, and there are large consumption rates and an increase in costs as a result of the high exchange rate of the dollar.
Al-Homsani pointed out, during a phone call to the “Hazrat Al-Muwatin” program, on “Al-Hadath Al-Youm” satellite channel, on Sunday evening, that there is a need to rationalize spending in the current period, which leads to continuing to reduce loads, but the state is making every effort to address the reduction of loads.
He pointed out that it was decided to make the load-reduction times during the day in response to the requests of representatives and citizens, as they seek to reduce the impact of load-reduction on citizens, hoping that the reasons calling for load-reduction will end.
