MTK Budapest, Diósgyőri VTK, and Kecskemét TE: Summer Preparation Matches and Results

The MTK had a tough battle with the strong Hajduk Split in Ljubljana. At the end of a great attack in the first half, MTK took the lead. Mihály Kata forced Krisztián Németh, then calmly put it into the net from 10 meters. The blue-and-whites could not keep the advantage in the second half, the Croatians turned it around with goals from Leon Dajaku and Marko Livaja, and with another goal from Livaja, they won the match 3-1.

Although the DVTK fell behind in the 9th minute against Zeleziarne Podbrezová in Enns, Austria, the Díosgyőrs equalized with a header from Vladyslav Klimovics in the 45th minute. Sergey Kuznetsov’s team also scored the winning goal in the first half. After Lőrinczy’s shot, the ball bounced off Papp Marcell’s heel and ended up in the net next to the goalkeeper.

Gergő Pálinkás missed the penalty in the 89th minute, but in the 119th minute he bombed under the crossbar, so István Szabó’s team won the match.
