“Shoshoni” decided on their triumph in the first half hour. After Adrián Kaprálik’s cross, Samuel Gidi opened the score with a header in the 16th minute. Home team captain Patrik Myslovič made it 2-0, after a quick counter-attack, Matúš Hruška fired a shot.
In the 69th minute, Kaprálik ensured Žilina’s lead with an export shot from outside the box. Dávid Ďuriš dealt the fourth blow to the Bystričans, the visitors only corrected thanks to substitute David Depetris. Thanks to the first victory of the season, the Žilina team got to the top of the incomplete table, they have five points. The newcomer from Banská Bystrica is in eighth place with three points.
