The sequel to the popular series Luther coming soon on Netflix. The film Luther: The Fallen Sun can be seen on the streaming service from March 10.
In the film, London deals with a gruesome serial killer. Detective John Luther is in prison and is disappointed that he was never able to catch the psychopath. So he decides to escape and give it another try.
Luther is played by Idris Elba, just like in the series. Cynthia Erivo, Andy Serkis, Dermot Crowley also have a role in the film.
The film is the sequel to the fifth and final season of Luther, which was published in 2019. The series started in 2010. Four years ago there were already plans for a film, Elba said at the time.
