A state of anger gripped the family of the late artist, Talaat Zakaria, in the past hours, after the emergence of a video implemented with artificial intelligence technology claiming that the artist died, and he is not the truth.
In a telephone interview with the “Red Line” program shown on Al-Hadath channel today, Amy Talaat Zakaria commented on the video posted on social media, and said, “I was surprised by the video. I want to say that my father, throughout his life, has a good reputation.”
And she continued, “The video says, ‘I came back from death, and another word does not say that.
Amy confirmed that she had taken all necessary legal measures against those in charge of the page that published the video, and had contacted the Cairo Security Directorate and Internet Investigations to take the necessary measures.
She indicated that the official of the page that posted the video contacted her, who told her that their goal in the video was for the public to remember her father to pray for him, while her response was: “No, I don’t want people to pray for him if the method will remain in this way.”
And she added: “The page removed the video after the conversation between us..But I am determined to take all legal measures because the video was very popular and achieved 5 million views.”
The intervention concluded by saying, “Talaat Zakaria is a red line. Leave the man in his condition with our Lord.. and let people think of him.”
The artist, Talaat Zakaria, passed away on October 8, 2019, after suffering a health crisis.
It is noteworthy that Talaat Zakaria’s latest work is the movie: “Halimo, the Legend of the Beaches,” which was shown in cinemas in December 2017, and co-starred with: “Dina, Reem Al-Baroudi, Amina, Nermin Maher and Bayoumi Fouad,” and directed by Mohamed Saeed.
