MotoSport Releases Schedule for the 2023 Portuguese Grand Prix in MotoGP Competition

After a winter break, MotoGP is back this weekend for the first race of the year. From Friday until Sunday, the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve will host the various motorcycling classes for the Portuguese Grand Prix.

In 2022, Francesco Bagnaia became MotoGP world champion, 17 points ahead of Fabio Quartararo. In Moto3, Izan Guevara celebrated the title, with Augusto Fernández imposing himself in Moto2.

Regarding schedules, MotoGP will have some adjustments for the weekend. Nothing changes on Friday, with the normal training sessions taking place. It will be Moto3 to kick off the festivities, with Moto2 to follow, and finally MotoGP. The action on the track starts on Friday at 9:00 am, with Moto3 free practice. The last session of the day (Moto2 T2) starts at 15:10 and ends at 16:00.

On Saturday, more practice takes place, as well as qualifying and also the MotoGP sprint race. MotoGP qualifying starts at 10:10 am, Moto3 qualifying at 12:50 pm and Moto2 qualifying at 1:45 pm. The sprint starts at 3 pm on Saturday. Sunday is race day, but before that we will have the MotoGP warm ups, starting at 9:45 am. The races take place at 11:00 am (Moto3), 12:15 pm (Moto2) and 2:00 pm (MotoGP).
