Currently, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 is the most popular phone with a foldable display, and its successor is coming soon, but Motorola was the first company to try to bring the classic clamshell phone back into vogue in this way. The Razr series will also receive a new member in the near future, the new model will be presented more than a week before Samsung’s device.
Samsung’s next big presentation event will be on August 10, when, in addition to the already mentioned Z Flip 4, the Z Fold 4, the new Galaxy Watch 5 smartwatches and a wireless earphone will arrive. Although Motorola is currently a smaller player on the market, the upcoming period will be quite exciting for them, as they will announce new devices shortly before Samsung, on August 2. One of the new features will be the Razr 2022, which is rumored to get real high-end hardware (Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1). This is a significant improvement compared to its predecessor, in which the Snapdragon 765G works, but of course we expect improvements in other areas as well.
In addition to the clamshell mobile phone with a bendable display, Motorola is also preparing another interesting device. The Moto X30 Pro will certainly be the first smartphone in the world to have a 200MP camera, let’s say this is partly thanks to Samsung, as they supply the extreme resolution sensor.
It will be interesting to see how the Razr 2022 and Galaxy Z Flip 4, arriving almost at the same time, will compare to each other. Operating time is a big issue with such compact phones, but of course we will also be curious about the prices.
