A motorcyclist was killed on the A10 ring road in Amsterdam this afternoon. The driver drove into a barrier of the alternating lane of the Coentunnel in the direction of Zaanstad.
Emergency services tried to resuscitate the victim, but to no avail. The identity of the victim is still unknown, writes AT5.
It is not the first time that a road user on the A10 collides with a barrier at the Coentunnel. Almost a year ago a car drove into it, so the barrier had to be replaced, reports NH News.
Shortly before that, it had already happened. A driver stated after that collision: “My navigation said: You have to turn left here.”
