Last season we met Irene and her mother Patrizia, who both had breast cancer. Patrizia’s cancer returned after ten years with metastases in her liver. Irene’s cancer came back in a different place and five brain tumors were discovered.

Mother and daughter – renamed ‘Team Terminal’ by their family – visited in Over my dead body previously the place where they wanted to be buried. That was next to Irene’s father, who died after two brain hemorrhages. Patrizia said in the relevant episode that she finds it ‘very beautiful and special’ that she can choose their grave together with her daughter, but that she finds it ‘unbelievable’ that a family of originally five people is reduced to two. Patrizia leaves behind her daughters Irene, Chiara and Julia.
