The mother of a six-year-old girl denounced the discovery of a piece of a mask in a McDonald’s nugget, which when ingested by the minor caused suffocation.
Laura Arber, 32, bought groceries for her children at the famous hamburger and other fast food shop at a branch in Aldershot, UK.
When she and the minors were consuming the food, their little daughter, Maddie, began to choke when she ate a chicken nugget.
Arber tried to help his daughter, who was already suffocating, when she managed to get the food out of the alimentary tract she found a piece of mask.

“It was a mask, and it was fully cooked inside the piece of chicken. At first I couldn’t see what it was, but I looked inside the box of nuggets and saw that there was something blue protruding from inside another piece. It was a mask, cooked like gum. Disgusting. If I hadn’t been in the room, I don’t know what would have happened, ”said Maddie’s mother.
When Laura Arber tried to claim at the McDonald’s branch for the find, the site manager indicated that nuggets are not prepared in their kitchens, they are only fried there.
Upon receiving this information, Arber decided to make the situation public, with the aim of alerting others who eat there.

In this regard, the chain mentioned that they are under review by their supplier and that in the event that more products are damaged, they will remove the nuggets of this producer from the entire chain of restaurants.
“At the moment we found out what happened, we opened an investigation with the supplier of the nuggets and we have taken the necessary actions so that any product from this supplier is removed from our restaurants,” they said.
From 24th July, in line with Government guidance in England, customers will need to wear a face covering when collecting takeaways or using our self-order kiosks and toilets. Don’t worry, we’ll be wearing them too. pic.twitter.com/xZ1gGWoD7b
