A traffic accident involving two vehicles occurred this Saturday, September 4, around 3:30 p.m., at a crossroads in the town of Saint-François-Lacroix, between Bouzonville and Sierck-lès-Bains. The collision severely damaged both passenger cars and one ended up in the ditch. The accident killed six people, the vehicles carrying respectively two people and a couple with their two children.

Drivers and passengers were taken care of by the firefighters, and in view of the first elements, the injuries appeared slight. All were transported to Bel Air hospital in Thionville. The gendarmes of the company of Boulay-Moselle ensured the regulation during the intervention of the rescuers.
