Mortgages on homes recorded the highest figure in the last twelve years

Underwriting of mortgages for the purchase of a house in the province of Teruel increased by 43.45% and 32.7% in the first nine months of the year compared to the same periods of 2021 and 2019, up to 690 transactions, its best record corresponding to that range of months since 2010 (1,040), according to data released Wednesday by the National Institute of Statistics (INE).

The average interest rate on mortgages granted for the purchase of a house in September was 2.47%.
