The head of government, Saad Dine El Otmani held, Friday evening, a meeting with Moroccan economists and experts to debate and exchange on the subject of the post-covid economic recovery.
This meeting was an opportunity to focus on the priorities and proposals able to cope with the economic and social repercussions of the pandemic of the new coronavirus, indicates a press release from the department of the head of government, specifying that Mr. El Otmani welcomed the visions of these experts for the revival of the national economy.
On this occasion, the Head of Government recalled the situation facing the Kingdom, as well as the High Royal Guidelines contained in the Speech from the Throne, noting that HM King Mohammed VI underlined the health, economic and social difficulties, while emphasizing forward the opportunities to be seized.
The Sovereign also insisted on the collective responsibility to act, calling for pooling the efforts of all Moroccans in the best interest of the Nation and to meet the challenges, adds the same source.
The experts who took part in this meeting presented their proposals and visions to achieve the expected economic recovery.
During this meeting, Mr. El Otmani assured that he will give interest to these proposals, making it known that the government is open to all national competences in the service of the Nation and the citizens, concludes the press release.
