Guadalajara Jalisco.

Morena accused the Government of Jalisco at a press conference of let expire “Tons of medicine.” Without specifying the amount of medicine that was spoiled, the state president of López Obrador’s party, Hugo Rodríguez Díaz, threw the following dart:

“The Government of Jalisco not only allowed a drug to expire but tons, I repeat tons of drugs and medical supplies with very high costs, such as antibiotics, drugs to treat pneumonia, and sterilants (cold solution to disinfect) and many more.”

The Independent Citizen Comptroller, Jorge Carlos Ruiz Moreno, said that the problem detected is that the Health Regions in the interior of the state did not have access to these drugs.

“We have verified it derived from the fact that the Directorate of Financial Resources of this OPD Health Services has shared with us the irregularities of said direction, and they denounce that so far in 2020 Neither the inventory since 2019 nor any financial statements have been presented of all medical supplies and materials and that this procedure is outside the norm in the General Law of Government Accounting ”, they accused.
